Terms of use
Short, and in English rather than lawyer.
The deal
- stripCHORDer:LIVE! is free to install and free to use, for personal and commercial use alike.
- It's provided as-is, with no warranty. If it names the wrong chord in front of an audience, that one's on you and me both, but legally on you.
- I may update, change, or stop distributing it at any time.
- Don't redistribute a modified copy of it as though it were mine, and don't strip the name off it and re-publish it as yours.
Content you play through it
The extension analyses audio that is already playing in your browser. Whether you're allowed to play that audio in the first place is between you and whoever owns it — use it with material you have the right to listen to. Chord names themselves are facts about music, not a reproduction of a recording; the extension does not record, save, or redistribute any audio.
Feedback you send me
If you send an idea through the feedback form, I may act on it and build it, without owing you anything for it. Don't send me anything confidential.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, I'm not liable for any loss arising out of using these tools. This is a free guitar aid made by one person, not a life-support system.
